What to expect at Canby Christian Church
Canby Christian Church is a nondenominational church where people meet to engage in current music, relevant/practical biblical teaching and dynamic connections with others in the community. This is a safe and exciting place to be whether you are a regular church attendee or just checking it out for the first time. We know that church can be intimidating so we hope to answer some of your most pressing questions.
Our services are generally an hour and twenty minutes to an hour and a half. Our Senior Pastor, Ken Harvey, speaks to today's culture. Ken focuses on how to apply Christ's teachings to our everyday lives. You will experience live music in our worship service. The music style is contemporary and fits with the current culture and it is our hope that it will engage you and prepare your heart for what God has in store for you.
When are your services?
Currently our church runs two identical services on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and 11:00am. While the services themselves are the same, what we offer in regards to children is different between services.
What about my children?
Durring our 9:15 service we have childcare for ages 0-5, and bible classes for children grades 1-12. These classes all begin at 9:15am and run the duration of the service, so you would simply drop them off prior to attending the early service.
During our 11am service we have childcare for ages 0-5, and children grades 1-12 attend the early portion of the service with their family. Around the midway point of the service we dismiss children grades 1-6 to attend our Kids4Christ children’s gathering. This gathering focuses on age appropriate worship, small groups, and activities.
How do I get there?
Canby Christian Church is located in downtown Canby, OR. The church building is situated on NW 4th Ave between Holly and Ivy St.
