CCKids Ministry

But Jesus called to them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me,

and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:16

Canby Christian Church believes in the responsibility of the church to partner and empower parents in the pursuit of raising children who love Jesus and worship God for their entire lives.  Our CCKids ministry is committed to providing ministry opportunities for children to hear the word of God and experience the love of Christ through the teaching of God's word and the connection with a loving and committed adult leader.

Each of our Sunday Morning services feature ministry options for children age 0 - 6th grade.  After being checked in, children can be dropped off by a parent at their respective classrooms for entire duration of the main service.

To ensure all of our children are able to learn and grow in a safe environment, we ask all of our families and volunteers to check-in at our Child Check-In Kiosk before proceeding to their rooms.  If you are visiting for the first time, welcome!  A Check-In Kiosk volunteer will be happy to assist you in getting checked-in for the first time.

During both of our Sunday morning services, we provide nursery care for children ages 0-2, as well as a Preschool aged class for children 2-5 years old.  Children in our Preschool classroom will experience crafts, bible stories, a light snack and a singing time to worship God.

For those parents in need of a private space to nurse or change your child, a mother's room is available next to our nursery and features a live feed of our service.

K-6th Grade

We use “Grow” curriculum in CCKids, which highlights

chronological biblical teaching, spending 6 months of the year in the Old Testament and 6 months in the New Testament. Each Sunday your K-6th aged child will learn and grow through live teaching, musical worship, group activities & games, scripture memorization, Bible knowledge and relationships with safe, caring adults.
