John, his wife Kati and their four children (Harper, Jude, Emerson & Hazel) have been attending Canby Christian for three years.  They have called Canby home since they got married in 2007. John grew up in Oregon City and attended a small community church until he graduated from high school. He switched churches a few times in college until he found Athey Creek where he and Kati attended for 20 plus years, until they felt the call to find and plug into a church in their community.

In 2015 John decided to start taking his walk more serious. He started getting more plugged into Church, became more committed to God’s Word and started pursuing a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus. John and Kati attended Athey until 2022 when they felt the call to find and plug into a church in their community.

John works for Daimler Truck North America. He manages Dealer Network Strategy. He’s been with Daimler since 2013. John, Kati and the family love camping, road-trips and the outdoors. In his free time, John enjoys golf and sports.
